Maybe in the morning, you'll have your mojo,
Maybe in the morning, you'll feel like you wanna show,
Maybe in the morning, you'll feel more in the know,
Maybe in the morning, you'll feel that inner glow.
What do you do when you feel like spit
And all you wanna do is quit or throw a fit?
How do you fit all the pieces together,
when you feel neither brave, smart, or clever?
How do you deal with a nasty brain,
that is calling you names, and causing you pain?
How to abstain from an excess of strain
from your head, when you're tired of it driving you insane?
You'd rather it give you some space, you'd rather replace
all the uncomfortable thoughts with thoughts of grace
and thoughts of lightness, and ease and joy
Thoughts you had as a young girl or boy
before you were an employed, responsible adult
Who made everything that goes on your own damn fault.
I mean when you feel the responsibility of it all
And you don't know what to do, want to crawl in a ball
you want to fall and surrender and give up,
Yet you have no choice but to keep your chin up.
But maybe you can take a breather, take a rest,
Ease and relax, and do your best,
And trust in the Universe, let go and let God,
Even if it feels odd, feel for that inner nod
Saying that you are all right, it'll all work out,
Maybe it's time to turn the light out,
And say goodnight now, and let it all go,
And maybe in the morning you'll have your mojo!
Maybe in the morning, you'll feel your sun rise,
Maybe in the morning, you'll see with fresh eyes,
Maybe in the morning, you'll get a surprise,
Maybe in the morning, you'll feel more wise

YES, I totally love this original, Chris Goslow verse. Can’t wait till it turns into song. Song and sleep heal the frantic mind, eh?
