It’s funny to have posts like this one on here, which echoes how I am feeling tonight: tired and not particularly enthused to write a blog post.
And yet here you are, Chris!
Oh yes. And yet here I am. Because I made a commitment to myself. And this blog seems in general to function best when I have some sort of daily routine going.
And why do you think that is?
I think it helps make it idiot-proof. I don’t over think it. I just do it each day.
Yes, and what about that do you think works for you?
Um…well, it certainly is productive. I always get a new post done! Daily writing is an awesome format for me getting work done. Obviously I have used it with composing as well, to great effect. It seems that I have a continuous flow of ideas and expression inside of me. My wife called it a ‘waterfall’ with my piano-playing. It also works with verbal ideas. Daily writing helps tap into that.
Yes, it does! And it is glorious to express yourself, yes?
Yes, it is. I really enjoy it. Even if it’s quirky, or some strange conversation with my “Inner Being” like I’m doing right now.
We love talking to you too, Chris!
Thanks. No surprise here, I feel self-conscious about including you in this post. But I’ve always been a glutton for punishment here…. er, I mean, I have always tended to be transparent even if it feels weird.
Boy howdy, you do! And this sure is weird! And we love it!
Well, thank you. I love that I write a daily blog. And now I get to be done. Hurrah!
