A few weeks ago I wrote a rather, um, incensed post about dividends, in which I complained about how they weren’t the “free money” I thought they were.
Honestly, I’ve felt kind of awkward about that post ever since. First of all, it is a bit out of character (okay, very out of character!) for me to be complaining on this blog. Secondly, I imagine the subject is rather unfamiliar to most people (unless you think about stock dividends a lot). There’s nothing wrong with me choosing a subject that is not well-known, but I’m not sure the way I expressed myself was quite as circumspect or, frankly, at the calibre of positivity I strive for on this blog.
Overall,I don’t think the post is a particularly good post.
Boo hoo.
So I put out a less than stellar post. It wouldn’t be the first one! I may have missed the mark with that one, but I can live with it. After all, I get to learn. I get to grow. I get to be off sometimes. This blog is a good place to give expression to my expanding humanity.
Perfection is over-rated.
