As I wrote yesterday, there are many wonderful ways this blog has served me. I will forever cherish it’s role in my life, particularly the life-changing 365 Day Blogging Project.
The thing is… that was then. I already did that. I’m in a new place.
Now what?
What’s next?
Here’s what I know:
- I no longer feel a need to blog every day just to prove I can do it. Been there, done that.
- I no longer feel the need to turn to blogging for relief from pressures in other areas of life. Undoubtedly I’m still working out some of the kinks when it comes to creative projects, yet I am making progress. I took my creative hiatus and the blog was an excellent sanctuary for me. Thank you, blog! You were awesome.
- I’m not particularly drawn to the daily one-off format of this blog. Working on my solo marathon account last year gives me confidence about taking on bigger writing projects, projects I hone and work on to my satisfaction.
- As much as I appreciate the many benefits of having this blog, it would be nice to have more people to share my work with.
Maybe this blog in its current form has served its purpose. At the very least, I am reconsidering picking up the daily posting.
I may have to go back to the drawing board.
