You want beauty. You want joy. You want things that feel good, like a wonderful meal, you wish to sit and enjoy it, and bask in the pleasant conditions. So that is what you wish. Yet do you allow yourself to have that? Do you let yourself have the things that are in your mind as wishes? Or do you keep them at bay? Do you let them in or no?
Many people sit as if removed from their own desires, watching other people do what they wish to do, be what they wish to be. But no one can be what you are meant to be. Only you can. But they can remind you of how you have cut yourself off from what you want to be.
This is a really good point, and I can definitely relate to it. So how can we change? I mean, if we have spent years and years cutting ourselves off, it can be so easy to just wallow once again in that old momentum, or almost slip into it unconsciously. Like falling into a pigsty, there we are again! How do we stop that?
We know that it might not seem easy. Especially if you are already in that “pig sty.” We like the analogy, because it can feel like you had no choice, once you are in there. That is the power of old thought habits, or the momentum that takes you for a ride, so to speak. And yet, with time, you can shift. You start by taking yourself out of the pig sty, or not judging yourself quite so hard that you are once again in there.
Yeah. That makes sense. So we say to ourselves, “I want to feel good! I don’t want to be in this mess once again! But now that I am here, I will just try to be easy on myself, while I get myself out of this as soon as possible. Or just wait it out. It will be over soon.”
Well, yes, that is true. Yet the bigger truth is that you are not just waiting it out, you are setting your intention on what you WANT. You don’t want to be in that pig sty. If you did, you wouldn’t even be mentioning it! If you were a pig, you would be happy! So what you have been doing is rolling around somewhere you don’t want to be. You’ve had your mind all mixed up focused on that UNWANTED experience instead of what you want!
Yes, I totally get that. So we have been cutting ourselves off from our desires, but we don’t have to do that. Yet it might take sometime to adjust, to set our intention and get that momentum going in that new direction.
It takes no to set a new intention, yet it can take time to adjust vibrational momentum. You might have to try and try again for a little while. And pick yourself up out of that sty for a bit, until you stop putting yourself in there.
Yes! That makes total sense. Thank you for much!
