Day 43: My Higher Self’s Guide to Abundance

Posted on September 15, 2018

Okay, so today I’m going to go out on a limb and just let MHS (“My Higher Self”) take over and write a post about abundance.  I am eager to see what he/she/it/they have to say!

Hello and welcome everyone who is reading this post.  This is a glorious post!  This is a happy blog, written by a very caring man who always aims to do a wonderful job in life.  He has been asking about this topic for a long time, and just now, he received the insight that it would be possible to do this post on it, so here we are.

This post is about how to create abundance in your life.  Yes, in YOUR life.  If you have wondered about this topic, look no further!  We will answer all your questions!  You will be amazed at how wonderful it is to have clarity.

First, we think we should say that clarity is the first order of the day.  When you are clear, the world is your oyster.  You can have anything you want, as long as you are clear about it.

Abundance, as opposed to poverty, is another word for wealth.  Wealth is a vibration known as plenty.  Plenty of what you say?  Well, most people think this means plenty of money.  And yes, it includes that.  And yet abundance can actually refer to anything of which you have plenty. It could be happiness, it could be smiles, it could be G.I. Joe’s and it could be Hershey’s Kisses.  It could be money.  It also could be things not so desired: it could be frowns, it could be holes in your boat, it could be smelly armpits.

(Yes, we put this last one here because we think it might make you laugh!)

Abundance is very much a dance.  A dance of gratitude, of joy… of energy.  When you feel abundant, you feel the energy of plenty.  The energy of “having.” The energy of flow, and of life.  Abundance in any walk of life is about being in alignment with the presence of something.

All people are creatures of attraction.  We all attract that which we think about. When you attract abundance, it is because you are thinking (and believing, this is very important) thoughts of abundance.

Chris has many thoughts of abundance about his own finances, though he doesn’t always realize it: he believes he has ample money to organize on his spreadsheets (or at least ample patience to wait until more money arrives), and he believes that his money will multiple over time by going through the process of systematically organizing money as it comes in.  Some people may not see this process as being very quick or exciting (compared to winning the lottery or bulldozing a building), but Chris has an abundance of faith that his process will work, and add up, with a minimum of interruption to his current life.

This faith has caused him to put a little aside at a time.  He has been quite satisfied to see that small amount grow.  Sure, he has often wished there were more, and yet, he continues to do it.  He has faith.  He is blessed with an abundance of desire and faith in this area.  And so he wins!

Chris also possesses faith with regard to his music.  He knows he is filled with musical ideas.  Lots of musical ideas.  Endless musical ideas!  He knows that he will never run out of those ideas.  He knows there is always more to tell through the art of music.

Similarly, through his teaching, he knows he will always have the right thing to say to a student.  He never worries about not having ideas to help others.  He has faith, an abundance of faith, in his teaching abilities.

And so it is with you, Dear Reader.  There are areas of your life in which you exhibit complete faith, and therefore, abundance.  Think of one area of your life that is fun, that is easy, that flows easily and lights you up because you know you have got this area handled?  That is your faith, and that is your abundance.

Faith and abundance are closely tied together, because when you believe that something will happen, without needing proof in every moment, you have access to it.  It becomes possible.  It becomes easy.

Abundance is the flow that comes from believing.  The faith of believing.  If you seek to have abundance in your life, start by thinking of the areas in which this is already the case.  Do you not feel how it helps to focus on this?  Has this not raised your mood already?

That is faith!  And that is abundance!

“Oh no,” you say, “but that doesn’t help me fill up my checking account!  What about the money I need and want right now?”

What about it?  It is on its way, if you believe.  It is not on your way if you don’t.  If you feel doubt or fear when you think about it, it is no good to focus on it right now.  It is better, in that case, to focus on something that feels good, something that you have access to a feeling of abundance around.  Try that, and you will feel better.  And when you feel good, you set yourself on a course of attracting more good things.

This post is called “A Guide to Abundance” but really you could insert any word in its place.  It is all about Attraction.  You attract what you believe.  Your energized, positive thought will attract more things like it.  Your vision of a win, of an accomplishment, of a good time, is going to produce that experience in your physical reality.  When you envision a loss, a failure, or a bad time, you will experience that instead.

It is simple vibrational math!  Your thoughts are like the vibrational output of a control tower that is your mind, where you get to control the frequency.  It is not so important what you think about, it is the vibrational content of what you think about.

Think about it this way: when you go visit a friend, do you care in advance what you talk about?  Or do you instead think about how you expect to have fun, do something fun, and have a good conversation?  Do you decide before hand the what of it, when you know it will be fun whatever it is you do?  Or is it more the feeling of it that matters?

And so it is with your life.  Focus on the feelings that you want to have.  The manifestations will follow.
