If there’s one consistent thread throughout this blog, it’s that feel I show up authentically in every post. To me, this is no small thing. Throughout my life, there were situations where I felt uncomfortable in my own skin, where I was mired with confusion or overwhelm, and where I definitely wasn’t happy.
Like so many people, I got caught up in the idea that my happiness lay in other people’s hands, in their approval, in some elusive sense of belonging I thought I could muster from the crowd. It took a lot of life experience and much thought and reading on the subject to realize that happiness truly is an inside job.
Writing my blog has been an antidote for old misguided tendencies. When I’m blogging, it seems I’m never far out of range from my joy. I always blog with my happiness in mind; therefore it always seems to be near.
Where many other things have seemed difficult or unnatural, My Happiness Obsession has come through beautifully.
Tonight I dedicate my 1000th post to anyone who has struggled to feel like themselves. If I could pass on a message, it’d be this:
“You matter.
Trust yourself.
Take your happiness into your own hands.
You know what’s right for you.
Go for it.
You got this! “
Congrats for your commitment !
Thank you!
Congratulations, Chris!! Thanks for sharing your amazing talents with the world!
